    Speaking as an American… really, the only reason we can be put on top is because we’re the only one of the superpowers who actually have their 5th gen fighters in production. Otherwise, I’d put Russia a little ahead of us, due to what they’ve done with their newer 4th gen aircraft. They have a bit of an addiction to thrust vectoring, I wouldn’t be surprised if they had it on their drones as well.

    Nice vid ut raf is way better than french and german airforces, we still have great army but i agree america is most powerful! :)

    China, unfortunately, has a better Air Force than India. Also, your numbers are way off. Your combined B-1, B-2, and B-52 number is laughably low. During the Cold War there were 700 B-52s alone. Sure, some have crashed, but DEFINITELY not 300, and that’s saying there are zero B-1s and B-2s.

    Russian & Chinese are by far the biggest by number. People’s Republic of China & Democratic People’s Republic of Korea want Russia’s rich natural resources as Russia has an abundance of natural gas, oil, coal, and precious metals.

    @Zukhov1945 Because, I considered only the new gen aircraft for this video. In the modern warfare air forces need cutting edge technology, the number of obsoletes does not really matter in BVR.

    Its not the technology that matter in war, but the “Pilot’s techniques & bravery”. If your pilots are not well trained then your aircraft’s technology is just garbage. And I think that Pakistan’s pilots are best in the world than all others. Because only Pakistan Air Force has world record to destroy 5 IAF’s(Indian Air Force) aircrafts just in less than a minute.

    @wearesage in that case all the numbers would change, India would still be in top 5 if you consider current inventory.

    Based on India’s present Inventory, it is probably Number 15th. You can’t rate India as number three based on aircrafts that will be inducted in 2015.

    1. USA (or EU if you choose to see it that way, in that case, the US and all other would slip down one rank)
    2. Russia
    3. Peoples’ Republic of China
    4. India
    5. Germany/UK
    6. France
